Mehndi Ceremony Puja

Mehndi Ceremony Puja is a beautiful pre-wedding ritual that combines traditional prayers with the joyful celebration of Mehndi. 🌿💚 Mehndi is an important cultural part of many Indian weddings and is often celebrated with music, family gatherings, traditional songs, dance, and blessings.

A special puja can be organized before the Mehndi ceremony to create a devotional beginning to the celebration.

The ritual may include Ganesh Puja, Sankalp, prayers for the bride or groom, Aarti, and blessings from family elders. 🪔🌺

The family may pray for happiness, good health, family harmony, peaceful relationships, confidence, and a joyful beginning to married life.

The Mehndi function often brings together women and relatives from different generations, making it an important family gathering. Grandparents, parents, siblings, cousins, and friends can participate.

The puja may be simple and intimate or incorporated into a larger pre-wedding ceremony.

The exact customs vary according to region, community, and family tradition. Some families may include specific deity worship, while others may keep the ceremony limited to Ganesh Puja and family blessings.
